Born in Tashkent and raised in Ufa, Irina Shilnova is a self-taught photographer currently based in Lisbon.

Her creative journey began in her teens with a passion for film photography, which has since evolved into a deep artistic practice. Her work is an attempt to ‘draw’ through observation, reflection, and analysis, completely immersing herself in the process.

Today, she continues to experiment with different shooting techniques, focusing on the textures and forms of the environment, exploring the harmony of nature alongside themes of childhood and the human essence through portraiture, reflecting on the value of the moment and life itself.
