I view the city and its surroundings as a complex ecosystem that has been functioning according to its own invisible rules for decades. My repeated moves have formed my view of a new environment as a realm for finding oneself  — a process that demands time for adaptation and maintaining one’s identity.
In this project, following the idea that “view from the outside” I set out on hikes to capture new views from the highest points of the landscape. Physical strain, overcoming hesitation, and the rhythmic motion upward, together with the decline of city noise, contribute to clearing the mind. A panoramic view opens up new horizons, enriching me with new experience and transforming spatial research into a meditative act.
To me, reaching the top is a metaphor for leaving one’s comfort zone and achieving personal growth. Both adapting to a new city and physical ascent require tackling mental and physical hardships.
